Whistler ski guide

With 200 plus trails Whistler is a skiers paradise. Considered the best ski resort in the world by many; once you have skied in Whistler you will not want to go anywhere else. There are 13 alpine bowls, 3 glaciers and the most terrain (8,171 acres) in North America. Considered to have guaranteed perfect snow year on year; Whistler is the perfect place to hold the 2010 winter olympics. Whistler mountain allows you to ski 'peak to creek' in one 5.5 km run then finish your day with a well earned ice-cold Kokanee beer at 'Dusty's (Creekside).

The atmosphere is buzzing but even though it is an extremely popular resort Blackcombe and Whistler mountains are so vast you almost feel as though you have the slope to yourself! The 38 lifts that can manage 61,407 skiers per hour are efficient and plentiful with very helpful staff. The slopes are well maintained and groomed every night. Ski school is available to help novice to expert skiers make the most out of this amazing place. The village itself is beautiful particularly at night when the streets are lit by fairy lights.
